Difference Between Shades, Sunglasses, Goggles, Glares and Aviators

Shades, Glasses, Googles

Shades: I think most of us know what shades are but do we know the meaning and use of them? many people say that shades are used for pointing to different colors of lenses. But sadly, this is not exactly what shades are for. Shades are used for protecting our eyes from sun rays and dust particles. They are not fancy ones and are just used as a shield.

Sunglasses: I think whenever we visit a market or mall during summer the salesmen always recommend us to use sunglasses for the protection of our eyes from the sun. So basically, sunglasses are frames with Polaroid coating.

Goggles: from my perspective goggles are the same as sunglasses but now they are coming in different styles and with various technology.

Glares:  these are also the same as sunglasses used for cutting sunrays.

Aviators: These were first created by the famous company Ray-Ban. Usually, this eyewear is created to cover most of the parts of the eyes. Where the classic glasses were square, these came in rimmed frames.

What is so special about Oakley eyewear?

Oakley eyewear is famous for high fashion but other than this their top-class qualities attract people more as follows:

  • They contribute to making vision as accurate as it can be by eliminating the pressure points which often come with other glasses.
  • They provide high-definition optics for clearer and sharper vision.
  • Their lenses block UVA, UVB, UVC, and blue rays 100 %. They pass their lenses from various tests to filter this protection to make them over-lasting other than just an offering.
  • Their collection of lenses and frames is huge and in fashion. Their new style which is known as the switch look allows the customer to change the lenses quickly in suitable situations.
  • Some lens offers a hydrophobic coating that prevents from raining any smudge created by skin oils, and lotions and they also repels dust.
