Nose pad Replacement

Are you familiar with the silicone or plastic pads on our glasses? Have you ever noticed the color that these silicone pads have acquired over time? It is quite disgusting and should be changed. Today's blog will show you how to replace the nose and arm pads on your Ray-Bans.

We will guide you through each step.

  1. You will need a precision or very small screwdriver to change your Ray-Bans' nose or arm pads. A pair or two of pliers may be possible. A chamois or cloth is also required.
  2. Cover the lens first on the side with an arm pad to replace it. It will prevent any damage to the lens from a mishap.
  3. Once the lens is covered, use the precision screwdriver to pry out the tabs that hold the Ray-Ban nose pads. Pop the arm or nose pad off once you have opened a crack.
  4. Install the nose pad by placing it on its mount. Press down and then tighten each tab with the pliers.
  5. After properly attached, the arm or nose pad can be changed.

Although it is quite straightforward, things can always vary or use an unusual mechanism. We are happy to answer any questions you may have, as you know.
